This is a simple tribute to our classmates who have passed away. If you were
lucky, you got to know a few of them while we were growing up and were full of
life.
As a group, the class of 1982 is fortunate to have lived in prosperous and peaceful
time and place, and that only a few of our friends have passed away. A friend from
the Vietnam War generation tells me they lost many men and women from their class by
the time of their 20th high-school reunion. We can only hope and pray that this country
remains peaceful and prosperous for our children's generation.
As you remember the good times you had with our departed friends, also remember that dying
is a part of life that emphasizes the importance of spending time building memories with
friends and family. In the upcomming years we will inevitably loose more of our friends.
Use the opportunity presented by this reunion to get to rekindle your friendships so you
have ample memories for the uncertain future.
